Who we are

AXSteam is a CS2 stats tracker operated by ax0rz0. You can contact us at [email protected].

What data we hold

• Steam ID — your public 64-bit Steam identifier, used as your account key.
• Display name & avatar — fetched from the Steam API and cached for display purposes.
• CS2 match statistics — kills, deaths, wins, rounds, headshots, and derived figures (K/D, win rate, etc.) sourced from Steam's public stats API.
• Profile bio — text you voluntarily write on your profile.
• Comments — text you post on any AXSteam profile.
• Activation record — a token linking your Steam account to an AXSteam Helper install. No device identifiers are stored beyond this token.

We do not collect IP addresses beyond transient server logs, do not track you across other sites, and do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Why we hold it

• To display your stats on the leaderboard and profile pages.
• To authenticate your AXSteam Helper overlay session.
• To let you personalise your profile with a bio and participate in comments.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your profile is active on AXSteam. You can request deletion at any time (see below). Transient server logs are rotated within 7 days.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. Steam stats are fetched from Valve's public API and are already publicly available.

Your rights

Regardless of where you are located, you can email [email protected] at any time to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your profile, comments, activation record, and leaderboard entry.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

If you are in Australia, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles apply to how we handle your personal information.

Cookies & sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in via Steam OpenID. No third-party cookies are set. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Changes

We will update this policy if our data practices change. Continued use of AXSteam after an update means you accept the revised policy.
